For the ACA boosters in the back of the room -- @NeeraTanden, you! -- this sort of thing is exactly why it's absurd to suggest the ACA is some form of "universal health care." Universal health care systems don't allow patients to be financial victims of contract negotiations. 
This is not "affordable care"
