With its judgments in #JudgeLoya, #BhimaKoregaonArrests and now #RafaleDeal, the Supreme Court has not only proved that it doesn't care a bit about constitutional morality, but also that "noisy judges" become tame handmaidens of the Executive once they assume the seat of power.
While #BhimaKoregaonArrests case had the ineffectual saving grace of Justice Chandrachud's dissent, that he had signed on that shameful fake verdict in case of #JudgeLoya, is something we must never forget. What use is searing intellect of DYC if it fails to rise up to challenge.
In #RafaleDeal verdict, we have a CJI — known for about eight months for his "save democracy" press conference on January 12, 2018 — casually signing on a 29-rage judgement that has a LIE taken for a fact, the very premise upon which this immensely flawed judgment is based.
