L'opera si intitola "Fountain of Exhaustion", e voleva veicolare la disillusione post-caduta del regime sovietico.
Ogni singolo elemento della fontana divide il flusso di acqua in due rivoli, così facendo togliendo forza al flusso originale. L'idea è essere metafora...

Context: Overton was one of the nearly 50 schools closed in chi in 2013 b/c of reasons like low enrollment accd to city officials at the time. Some of those buildings b/cm condos
Vielleicht war der Abbau und Sturz der goldenen Erdogan-Statue, die im Rahmen der Wiesbadener #Biennale unter dem Motto „Bad News“ aufgestellt wurde, wesentlicher Teil des Kunstwerks - oder zumindest einkalkuliert. Auf jeden Fall war es seine Vollendung.
Kurz vor dem Staatsbesuch, bevor die Bundesregierung Erdogan den roten Teppich ausgerollt, stellt man diese Statue mitten in die Landeshauptstadt und holt damit die Situation in der Türkei, zu der Dtl durch Waffenlieferungen und Partnerschaft mit Erdogan beigetragen hat,hier her.
Und weil die Statue Erdogans die „öffentliche Sicherheit“ gefährdet, während das Original mit militärischen Ehren empfangen wird, wird die Freiheit der Kunst eingeschränkt, der Platz von der Polizei geräumt und die Statue von Polizeiketten abgeschirmt.
