As an African immigrant, I want to use this special day of Juneteenth to say a heartfelt "thank you" to my African American brothers and sisters, who paved the way for me in the United States of America.

Fast forward through Girls High prom, @HowardU, @USPS, @ge, 7 relocations, 1 daughter, 1 grandson, 25+ dogs, 4 turtles, 2 hamsters, 12 piranhas, the loss of 4 parents & 1 brother, and the support of family & friends. They even had some lemonade. He makes the world’s best lemonade 
They proved opposites totally attract, they have nothing in common & everything in common. He’s an incredible husband, father, brother, uncle, friend... and will pick up any hitchhiker and She doesn’t let him. ❤️
