2 years ago, I submitted my doctoral thesis, entitled “What are adult mental health services doing to improve outcomes for Black service users? A mixed method analysis of Black Psychologists’ perspectives and UK mental health trust data” read it here: repository.uel.ac.uk/download/b0988…
The results were disturbing, but unsurprising. I also found the process of carrying out the research, the write up and the viva extremely traumatic.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting some content, which will give you bite size chunks about my work/ findings, and experiences. But I’m the meantime if you read (some or all of) the full length version, please tweet/DM me your thoughts.
