1/ Rachel Maddow pointed out yesterday, Thurs. 11/1/18, just 5 days before the midterms, a Trump administration executive order takes effect & eliminates the Obamacare rule that insurance companies can't deny coverage for pre-existing conditions. Starting yesterday, they can.
2/ In her ominous announcement, Rachel referenced the Wall Street Journal, & this quote: “This is also the first open-enrollment period under a Trump-administration change expanding access to cheaper plans that don’t cover the panoply of benefits mandated by the ACA. (con't)
3/ Those less-expensive plans can also deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.” Here is the article: The open-enrollment season is kicking off just before the congressional elections in which health care has emerged as a top issue for voters wsj.com/articles/healt…

3) They laughed at their good fortune every time a GOP player would pledge to work closely with their coach; such easy pickings.

I understand the feeling that your vote probably won’t make a difference. I live in Arizona, in a super conservative district. Trent Franks was my Congressman, for heaven’s sake. But you are wrong if you think your vote doesn’t matter, or that you’re the only one! It’s not true.
Here’s how I know. Last year, I became a PC (Precinct Committeeperson). I represent the other Dems in my precinct-neighborhood. I expected there weren’t very many fellow Dems. But then I got my first walking list. 256 Democrats in my precinct! Including my next door neighbors.
I had no clue there were so many! And as I knocked on doors to talk to them, I found out many of them had also thought they were alone. They were thrilled just to see ME as a Dem representing them. In fact, I am the only PC of any party in my precinct, despite many open slots.
