1. "Operation Warp Speed" or how to develop'n produce vaccine in 14 months instead of 73.
With 14 months timeline ending on 1/1/2021🧐🗓️
We should probably read april, but that's a detail…… Image
2. 12-month FDA review is replaced by a continuous control of safety and efficacy data.
It really must have been a tremendous work to inspect hundreds of trial sites and dozens of manufacturing units… Image
3. But this @USGAO report tells us that only 58 #FDA biological inspections were conducted from April 2020 to March 2021, up from 1,500 in the previous 12 months. <30 before December.… Image

Here are some of the key findings:…
1. Severe disease was rare in children and death was extremely rare.

- Children under 19 made up less than 1% of all patients admited with #SARSCoV2 (651 / 69516 patients of all ages)

- Extremely low in-hospital mortality rate (<1% in children vs 27% in adults)
2. All 6 deaths were associated with profound comorbity / concurrent illness.

- 3 were neonates (1 = very premature, 1 = congenital abnorm, 1 = bacterial sepsis)

A great public service to have a doctor on Monday's @JeremyVineOn5. 👍

🤔 Or was it?
JV introduces "a great doctor"...

In what galaxy is Mr Bull a 'great doctor'?
Maybe he was 25 years ago- the last time he worked in the #NHS.
Since he gave up (& after we'd paid the entirety of his 6+ yrs medical training), he's been a model, a 'TV doctor' & a property speculator. 💰
I know a couple who qualified around the same time as Mr Bull.
They've run an extremely busy 14,000 patient surgery for decades, incorporating GP trainees on site & at Uni on their 'days off'.

Who's been the best value to the taxpayer & #NHS for their £100K+ training?

About 6 years ago I was diagosed with rare genetic blood #cancer called polycythemia. Since then it’s progressed & become post-polycythemia vera myelofibrosis. 36 months ago I was also diagnosed with multiple myeloma.

I have fought every single day to stay alive. I’m alive bcos we belong to #Euratom European atomic energy community - it also deals with medical radiation treatments.

For more on Euratom see here:…

I also rely on the British participation in the ERN’s. These are European Reference Networks which allow collaboration across EU member states and they do essential work on #rarediseases making my, & many other ppl’s, treatment possible.
