Quem me segue sabe q acompanho de perto os protestos de Hong Kong. Mas sei também q há ainda muito desconhecimento sobre o q está acontecendo. Por isso quero fazer um resumo e apontar pq esses eventos são tão importantes para a democracia e direitos humanos no mundo. Segue o fio:
1. Hong-Kong (HK) foi uma colônia inglesa até 1997, quando foi devolvida para a China. De acordo com a Economista, HK é uma democracia capitalista e liberal . A China, um regime autoritário dirigista. Dois mundos em choque. bit.ly/2ASGPl8
2. A devolução de HK só aconteceu depois da China entrar em acordo com a política de “Um país, Dois sistemas”. Em resumo, essa política dava autonomia política e econômica à HK, que continuou tendo liberdade de imprensa e outros direitos humanos básicos. bit.ly/2VtblLi
