What you actually mean is that YOU (& your government) have deliberately CHOSEN to prioritise the ECONOMY over the HEALTH & WELLBEING of the British ppl…..but are dishonestly & patronisingly pretending there is no other option?

2/ I suspect asking any of them to continue to #WearAMask indoors in crowded, poorly ventilated areas next week will be greeted w/ a similarly irresponsible & ignorant response.

The time for EU naval-gazing about #Brexit is over.
Brexiteers say UK never belonged in EU in the 1st place. Many in Europe agree, especially now.
Here, #BritishExceptionalism really does apply. The UK leaving says nothing about the success or failure of the European project.

In other words, #Brexit is a British problem, not a European one.
The minute the referendum was called I expected the UK to vote to leave. Living in the UK for 3 years, and hearing the way people (of all political persuasions) talked about Europe, it seemed inevitable.

What was clear to me was that many British people (of all political persuasions) felt the UK is ‘too big for Europe’. That it was somehow embarrassing to be in EU.
That’s a societal delusion that the EU could never fix. It’s an English problem that needs an English solution.
