1/Dev Docs for Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol are officially here 🔥

#CCTP eliminates the need for conventional "lock-and-mint" bridges that fragment liquidity & allows devs to provide users a more capital efficient way to transfer $USDC

So how does it work? 👇
2/ Burn $USDC on the source chain:

User initiates transfer of #USDC through an app from one chain to another, and specifies the recipient wallet address on the destination chain. The app facilitates a burn of USDC on the source chain.
3/ Fetch attestation from Circle:

Circle observes and attests to the burn event on the source chain. The app requests a signed attestation from Circle, which provides authorization to mint the specified amount of #USDC on the destination chain.

🤔 What is @MantaNetwork's OpenZL? A thread >>

"Manta has recently launched #OpenZL... These initiatives are very important. As we spend more time on this tech, we should [think] about tooling."

@rahulmaganti_ from @jump_ spoke about it on @ZKValidator

OpenZL is an initiative that we started at @MantaNetwork to make it easier for devs who aren't cryptography experts to build zero-knowledge proofs into their applications. We're making it easier for everyone to use #ZKP.

Current solutions for building fall under two categories:
1) Build using high-level languages like Circom

❌ The disadvantage here is that you can't take advantage of performance optimization, so your application has a potentially worse user experience.

As of yet, no #cryptoasset is too big to fail-- not even #bitcoin.
Too big to fail applies in 2 areas

1) #Cryptoland, where the question is: will crypto be crippled if a core network suffers catastrophic failure (or slow fade 2 obsolescence)

2) Macro-land, where the question is: will global economies be severely affected if X #crypto goes down
3/ In case #1, there's no doubt #cryptoland would go through a period of heavy puking if #Bitcoin or #Ethereum went down, and while a few #buidlers would defect, the majority would stay and adapt.
