Following a few requests, I’ve prepared financial fact sheets for some international football clubs. This is not new information as such, but a summary of previous data. This thread covers #FCBarcelona, #RealMadrid, #Juventus, #Milan, #Inter, #ASRoma, #FCBayern, #BVB & #PSG
#FCBarcelona 2019 revenue surged 23% to €852m, the highest in the world, due to taking merchandising in-house and new Champions League deal. First club with wage bill over €500m. Profits 8 years in a row, but increasingly reliant on player sales. Debt & transfer spend shot up.
#RealMadrid revenue flat in 2019, but lower wages and €99m profit from player sales resulted in €53m pre-tax profit, the highest in Spain (though posted €44m operating loss). Financial debt down to €83m. Revenue will be boosted in 2019/20 after taking merchandising in-house.

👤 Marcus Edwards (21)
📍 Vit. Guimaraes
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Engländer
🌟 Beweglichkeit, Balance und Technik
💰 3,5 Mio MW -> 15 Mio RC

Let's take a detailed, comprehensive look at under-24 strikers from the top 5 leagues. This study considers both conventional centre forwards as well as players who switch between the wings and the central "9" role.

Data thanks to the brilliant @fbref as always! (THREAD) Image
Output is fundamental for any young striker and the sustainability of a striker's output can be measured in xG and xA. The graph shows us that Haaland and Gabriel Jesus have superb movement while Werner is a considerable all-round threat. #BVB #MCFC #RBL Image
Does your favourite young striker like getting on the ball, and if so, where does he get the ball? Werner loves being involved in general play while strikers like Tammy and Lautaro prefer taking few touches, with most of them being in the box. #RBL #CFC #Inter Image

#LFC manager Jürgen Klopp is Germany's coach of the year and after spoke to the German magazine kicker about the goals this season.
"We are not the top favourite in the #ChampionsLeague. #ManCity are once again a favourite. They are very good. In the Premier League City are above everyone, they have a top combination with their coach and their squad," Klopp said.
Klopp likes to call his players mentality monsters but believes that van Dijk, in particular, still has room to grow. "He is world class but setbacks influence his game to much. Others handle that better like Alexander-Arnold and Robertson. They play their game no matter what.
