On both occasions, they called on @NigeriaGov at all levels to provide leadership in ensuring that the security of all Nigerians is preserved as enshrined in section 14 (2)(b) of #CFRN99.
They also urged @NGRPresident to provide political and moral leadership for the security crisis and ensure governmental actions are humane in tandem with section 17 (2)(C) of #CFRN99.
It's amusing to see a lot of pro-government misters trying to spread the disinformation that the #EndSARS protests of October 2020 were "hijacked" and turned into some sort of orgy of violence.
The facts, as recorded in this world of digital media where it is now difficult to hide, is that @NigeriaGov, unable to find "leaders" to either bribe, intimidate or otherwise coerce, cynically turned to thugs to disrupt (not hijack) the protests.
The govt's strategy succeeded to some extent, but the jury is still out, and it is increasingly looking like a case where they won a battle in order to lose a war.

Abba Kyari was, to many, the de facto president of #Nigeria.
Since his demise became public knowledge, there has been a deluge of praise for him, as well as criticism of course, which will always accompany the death of an influential figure.

But something happened yesterday.
There was a concerted effort to blackmail those criticising the late Mr Kyari, in some cases by implying that those criticising him would die soon.
