#BreconByelection some thoughts: smart money was on a Lib Dem win. They’ve targeted the seat for two years, threw the kitchen sink at it and scored a good win. For the @brexitparty_uk it was our 400th target seat from 650. So did we split the vote? >>
Well, a significant number of people either didn’t trust Boris to deliver a clean-break Brexit, or would never vote Tory anyway, and voted @brexitparty_uk This represents a headache for Tory HQ as this will be replicated across the UK - more so in our target seats
Then consider this: more people voted Leave/pro-Brexit in #BreconByelection than Remain (Tory + @brexitparty_uk = 16,080 v Lib Dem = 14,906).

This is in line with 52% v 48% at EU Ref so there has been no “Remain resurgence”. Actually Brexit “won” in Brecon *

I have done little else over the past 2+years but try to talk to Brexiters and make them realise the damage they are doing to us all.
Some of them listen, but many don't believe me.
It took me a while to understand why, because
a) I have facts
b) No seriously, I have facts #MyUK
I've watched the unfolding horror of BrexitReality in #MyUK & shared by #BrexitConcerns, but they can't see it.
Look, I say, Brexit was supposed to help our NHS, & make things better but all the NHS unions say it will make things worse #NHSvBrexit
"Unions are paid by the EU" 🤦‍♀️
"Look, here's Channel 4 exposing how our data was manipulated to target people with misleading propaganda to make them vote against their best interests. Here's proof the people who want to leave are cheats & liars."
"Channel 4 are paid by the EU" they say, brandishing "proof"

I say this with a great, and sad reluctancy. But having spoken to two @brexitparty_uk candidates in my local area today, I no longer find myself at a point where I can physically say that I will vote, in the EU elections tomorrow, for the Conservative Party. #EuElection2019
Who I will put my X in the box for I do not know, but a number of factors have lead me to this decision, which I do not take lightly. Chief amongst which is the so called ‘deal’ that Mrs May announced yesterday. It is anything of the sort, it is not a deal nor compromise. #Brexit
Instead it is a complete and utter capitulation by the Prime Minister which has backfired horrendously. The promise of a second referendum in a parliament where the MPs overwhelmingly voted to remain in their own personal votes is strategically inept. #EUelection2019 #Brexit

Look at the state of the bottom of this list.
@Nigel_Farage is ranked 747th out of 751 for MEP voting.
Less than 40% of votes.
Taking taxpayers money & doing nothing.
One of the very worst lazy, overpaid, "gravy train" MEPs Leavers are always railing about.

@Nigel_Farage This analysis of MEP value is from here: mepranking.eu/state.php?st=G…
@Nigel_Farage By comparison, here are the top 30 or so of UK MEPs
