Articles today revealed Labor will deliver pay increases
What didn’t run is that:
-Under the Liberals workers wages have been deliberately kept low & jobs made insecure
-Productivity is up & big business is taking more than its fair share

Workers share of GDP has been in decline with the gap between how much business takes and how much workers get of the value we create in the economy never further apart than it is now under Morrison & Co.

WAM was set up in 1997. The same year our current dividend franking system was established.
It’s got a nice tax deductible foundation and $3Billion under management

Rudd is saying some interesting things about the Murdoch media. I have a few things to say about his interview with Neil Mitchell. Mitchell made glib lines about media outlets campaigning for a political result. Is this what we want? A thread.
Here is the interview. I recommend watching it as Mitchell’s squirmy and aggressive body language was an important part of the story:

Commentators like Mitchell are completely missing the point when asking for evidence from Rudd that Murdoch campaigned against Rudd’s Labor government for commercial interests.
