2/ NSC made a coordinated effort to surround me with intent to do intimidate and harm. One of them knelt behind me, as others moved in with weapons preparing to knock me to the ground and beat me.
3/ One tried to swipe my phone, causing me to pivot away from the kneeler. They less-effectively began shoving and punching, trying to provoke violence from me. Lauren then intervened and was thrown against the wall. It could’ve been much worse.
TW: @LAPDHQ went at us with batons hitting mothers and babies and peaceful protesters in front of @MayorOfLA. LAPD pulled one of us randomly and ended up grabbing Jaime.
