Yesterday was the 59th anniversary of the day #CIAkilledJFK, and I happen to be on vacation in Pensacola. So let me tell you a story about how this building I passed by yesterday—the old Thiesen Building on Panafox, once the tallest skyscraper in Florida—connects to JFK's murder. 
On March 17, 1964, Hank Killam was found dead with his throat slashed some 50 ft from the shattered windows of the Linen Department Store, on the building's first floor. Killam, it turns out, had connections to both Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby.
Four months prior to his death, Killam was living in Dallas, working as a house painter. His wife, Wanda, was a dancer at Jack Ruby's Carousel Club, while a friend Killiam sometimes painted houses with, John Carter, lived at the same boarding house as Oswald.
In dismissing CIA evidence of Lee Harvey Oswald visiting Mexico City in 1963, FBI Director J Edgar Hoover said, "it appears there is a second person who was at the Soviet Embassy down there." One of many examples of Oswald being impersonated pre-assassination 🧵 #CIAKilledJFK
Particularly compelling eg: testimony of Marita Lorenz, long-time CIA asset to House Select Committee on Assassinations. She met *a* Lee Harvey Oswald at a Miami safehouse and several CIA training camps in Florida 1960/61. When Oswald himself was playing defector in the USSR...
Lorenz was threatened with perjury as her timeline conflicted with Oswald's presence in the USSR, and repeatedly invited to reconsider her testimony. She refused. HSCA asked "how we come up with two Lee Harvey Oswalds?". They didn't consider the same question themselves.
A Young CBS reporter named Dan Rather was one of the people who saw the Zapruder film of the assassination, which wasn't released to the public for years.

Dan Rather later went on to have one of the most successful media careers in history. He hosted a #1 nightly news show, and inherited the title of "most trusted man in America" from Walter Cronkite.

One of the most troubling things about the JFK assassination is that not only was the government able to cover it up, but the media helped them do it.

And it's not just JFK. It's the entire criminal/political/social apparatus that was able to pull it off, cover it up and entrench its own power.

In late September 1963, Sylvia Odio was visited at home in Dallas by three men, one of whom was introduced as "Leon Oswald". When President John F Kennedy was assassinated in that city two months later, she realised this individual was Lee Harvey Oswald...#CIAKilledJFK
Her other visitors were right-wing Cubans, who over the course of a 20 minute conversation conducted largely in Spanish told Sylvia they were friends of her father, then-imprisoned in Cuba, and "Leon Oswald" might joing the anti-Castro resistance movement....#CIAKilledJFK
The very next day, one of her Cuban visitors telephoned to say "Leon Oswald" was a "kind of nuts" former Marine and crack marksman who thought President Kennedy should've been killed after the failed CIA-orchestrated Bay of Pigs invasion #CIAKilledJFK
