#Cilmeri is a sacred place.

The village, on the outskirts of Llanfair ym Muallt (Builth Wells) was the scene of The Battle of Irfon Bridge, in which Llywelyn - finding himself separated from his main army - died at the hands of an English soldier named Stephen de Frankton. Image
King Edward's ambition was to unite the the island of Britain under his rule.

This meant conquering both Wales and Scotland militarily.
