La principale imperfection des modèles en finance est de modéliser continuement le risque, alors que les événements sont brutaux et imprévisibles. Ils viennent toujours là, et au moment où on s'y attend le moins.

Dit autrement, la finance fait trois choses :
1/ elle s'est accaparé le temps pour le vendre : taux d'intérêts
2/ elle mesure le risque pour vous protéger contre lui : une sorte d'assurance (VIX, CDS, taux long termes)
