Sure, there are landlords who are ethical, work hard to serve tenant needs… and protect their investments which are paid for by… [checks notes] their tenants. 2/4
Best thing these (some of them self promoting social justice warrior) landlords can do is to turn over their properties to the communities they are currently making bank on and use their skills to help with cooperative property management. 3/4
