2) Just a word about my charts. I invented this form of polling data analysis for the Trump Campaign. My data came from the LA Times/USC Dornsife Daybreak Poll. I looked only at their data, and they proved to be the single most accurate source in 2016 in the end.
3) Anyone familiar with technical analysis of stocks and commodities will be instantly familiar with my method, as all I did was port it over to polling data. I use a fantastically simplified version, where all you really need to know are what Support and Resistance lines are.

A White House matters. Planning is a friend right now. This is commonly referred to as a slow roll crisis: its potential impact can be seen coming. But, we now have a shell of a homeland security office, a demoted homeland security advisor, no pandemic preparedness office. 2/

BREAKING: Experts from China’s CDC in Guangdong now published a Jan 25th report that new #coronavirus has “higher pandemic risk than SARS”!!! They based it on R0 analysis from new data vs SARS. This is quite alarming if true. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
2) Here is China’s Guangdong CDC’s graph directly comparing R0 of the new 2019-nCoV with SARS during initial outbreak (using two approaches). “R values of 2019-nCoV were 2.90 & 2.92... while the corresponding R values of SARS-CoV were 1.77 & 1.85” (from biorxiv.org/content/10.110…)
3) How is SARS most different from the new #coronavirus? SARS was never contagious when someone had no symptoms. But the new #WuhanCoronavirus **can be transmitted** even when no symptoms! The former US FDA Commissioner Dr Scott Gottlieb confirms it.
UPDATE: Transmission of #coronoavirus estimated at 2.6 by another research group (lower than the 3.8 initial reports). But 2.6 is still extremely bad —each infected person will infect 2.6 others. Even the authors admit #CoronaOutbreak containment will be very difficult. Thread:

Impressionante o que ocorre na China. #Wuhan (11 milhões de habitantes), onde surgiu o surto do novo #coronavirus foi fechada para o mundo e militarizada. E a @AFP notícia que uma segunda cidade, de 6 milhões de habitantes, também entrou em quarentena.
Ninguém sai de Wuhan. Estradas foram bloqueadas, voos cancelados, barcos não estão autorizados a navegar. Transportes públicos de metrô e ônibus estão suspensos. Na estação férrea da cidade, soldados com máscaras cercam o local.
