Because of that, our reactions can seem intense, and even to ourselves they are intense and they are big, so it can be hard being able to recognize and try to redirect our emotion and attention to something else. But having a support system is a life saver!!

I'm used to talking very openly about my mental health journey, but I've been quite hesitant to share how I made it to my ADHD diagnosis as it was, without a doubt, the darkest time of my life. As if 2020 wasn't hard enough😩 #CosmicTakeOver
I've also have never been open about what turned out to be an eating disorder, how much weight I gained through the pandemic, or how dark your mind goes when you are in pain. I didn't know "restlessness" was not anxiety but internalized hyperactivity. #CosmicTakeOver
I think this journey was very painful but Im very glad to be here. Im happy to have some closure with my past and the ability to implement the support systems I never had growing up. I still feel isolated but Im glad to have found an online community to relate to. #CosmicTakeOver
