Climate change is the most important story in human history and we are now at its most important moment.

I don't know all the answers or what should come next. But I do know how to find them.

A thread and a proposal:
In order for us to know what we need to do in detail, we first need to imagine ourselves achieving the world we all want: One that centers racial and environmental justice, human health and ecosystem integrity.

We need to imagine ourselves not only surviving, but thriving.

- @chrislhayes

"A scientist can come on and say 'that doesn't work because you're going to fry the planet' and Mitch McConnell doesn't care."

"The science is the ultimate binding constraint on human civilization, but we perfectly have it within our power to destroy human civilization."

-@chrislhayes, saying the loud part out loud
