@zimta01:Opening of Schools premature, Period!

@zimta01:The recent announcement by the Head of State, President @edmnangagwa regarding the reopening of schools to examination classes has left most forward thinking educationists shell shocked.

@zimta01: Re-opening of schools whilst hordes of people from the diaspora are being bused in from #coronavirus infested regions might be just as good as opening Pandora’s box.

(1/22) Saying people shouldn't have protested the way they did in Warren Park yesterday because they flouted #Covid19Zim lock-down regulations is no different with a mother telling a child not to report rape because it is perpetuated by a breadwinner.

2/22The abuses that were demonstrated against had to be confronted physically because they are being committed physically with absolute disregard to #Covid19Zim lock-down regulations! It is the duty of revolutionaries to act & confront such problems when most are still wondering!
(3/22) Instead of using the lock-down to combat #Covid19Zim the government held public meetings convened by minister July Moyo on 30 April in Chilonga Chiredzi to force the eviction of 10 000 residents from their land to pave way for the Chinese lucerne project.

Around this time every year, villagers scramble for the precious #Mopaneworm in Matebeleland South. This year has not been an exception despite the #Lockdown and #COVID19.
@ZimForest @METHI_Zimbabwe @EMAeep @nqo_nn @mitimasango @growa_tree
The #mopaneworm harvested from Mopane trees which is the dominant vegetation type in most parts of Matabeleland South. Gwanda and Plumtree are some of the areas where people harvest madora on a commercial scale
Mopane worm has increasingly become an important dietary supplement for many rural and urban households. It is also an important source of household incomes for those involved in the trade. A bucket of madora can fetch as much as US$25 on the street markets.

Just how Zim State media, both print and broadcast fail to optimise vast resources at their disposal to produce is an abberation and national disservice that enlightens us to a number of things 1/ @AlexanderRusero @VTKAHIYA @nickmangwana @TrevorNcube @Jamwanda2
2/ There is no worse time this has been exposed than during this Covid-19 crisis when the @ZBCNewsonline has shown us how vacuous in both material production and imagination it is, as it has churned poor quality on rotation when it has a whole family-centred market to itself...
3/ On the other hand, print media such as @HeraldZimbabwe and @SundayMailZim have remained stuck as daily and weekly publications with no effort to produce content that is alive to the new realities of a more ravenous, captive but dynamic audiences...

1/8 I intend through this thread to highlight that this crisis of #Covid19Zim is not from God but from the devil, it is evil and God does no evil for there is no evil in him. Everytime God is about to do something he makes a decree through his prophets.
2/8 Let us start with the rain in the time of Noah (Genesis 6). There was a clear warning by God which was also transmitted to the people that it is going to rain, not many believed him except his own family and indeed they were the only ones who survived the storm.
3/8 We then move next to Sodom and Gomorrah. In Genesis 18 God tells Abraham his plans to destroy the place and the father of faith intercedes for Lot his nephew. As the events were about to take place the angels told Lot who inturn delivered the news to his would be sons-in-law
