Today my school @UNG_News changed its #COVID19 reporting practice. It had 114 cases as of Friday. With no reporting over weekend, it now says it has 156 case since 8.18 (day after school started). #covidcollege

UNG also erased daily count. But 42 cases in three days is major jump from its average 7-8 per week day and 13 last weekend. Follow allow here: docs.google.com/document/d/1tC…
By campus numbers show now 50% of cases in Dahlonega (dorms). But also after an early small case load at its Oconee campus (near Athens) now a spike with 49 cases. (Also in different county than Athens). #covidcollege

(Hoepfully) today we get weekly #COVID campus case counts for many Georgia schools. First up, @UnivWestGa who report 11 students and 1 employee case from 8.19-25. Which brings their semester total to 69 (3 employees). Remember no testing. #covidcollege

Next up @universityofga. While classes began 8.20, UGA gives weekly reports. Cases 8.10-14 were 68. August 17-21 were 173. So more than double from week 1 to week 2. #covidcollege uhs.uga.edu/healthtopics/c…

Georgia Tech updated its #COVID19 case count last night. Monday (8.24) it reported 48 positives, pushing total from semester start (8.17) to 163. Report includes 28 in Greek housing, 13 more elsewhere on campus. #covidcollege

With that report, Georgia Tech still on pace to be near Georgia College two week total. The two schools have vastly different of undergrads and Tech is testing. That said, on-campus housing cases outside the Greek culture is concerning.

Georgia College has revised some of its previous numbers. Today (8.24) it reported 150 cases. But it revised last week. Total cases since class started 8.12: 370. #covidcollege

Georgia College gives 150 total then students in daily list. There are 125 student cases today, leaving 25 employee cases, though the school does not list employee cases for the weekend. It also revised its employee history case count. Update here: docs.google.com/document/d/1tC…
Also I am befuddled by the "total reported 373" on Georgia College website. Total since August 7 is 380. So either they revised the list and didn't change total or have an error. Also revising employee cases downward significantly today with no explanation.

So UNG on pace to have 50-70 cases first week. With no surveillance testing. UNC shut down with 130 positives in the first week, testing 950+ people.
Correction: my @UNG_News Dahlonega campus has no Greek houses, but has Greek organizations. I assumed.. and you know what happens... ung.edu/fraternity-sor…
