The Easter holidays give us some time & space to act, but while funding & political will are lacking, the school community remains very exposed to an #airborne🦠 that can cause severe illness, death & long term morbidity.

I ask EVERY patient where they work & I have to say that many workers & employers have been dangerously mislead.

In large rooms/whole floors full of office workers sitting 2m or less apart THE AIR WILL SOON MIX.
If the windows are shut, highly likely in winter, the exhaled breath of worker w/ #COVID19 won’t take long to be everywhere.

The claim that across the UK most places are #CovidSecure is a fantasy. THEY ARE NOT!

And while you’re at it @piersmorgan @Peston @SamCoatesSky @maitlis & @krishgm can you explain to them that the virus won’t go away just because the “old & vulnerable” have been vaccinated. It will continue to spread through communities until ADEQUATE SAFETY measures are in place.
As we’re seeing now on “the frontline” WHOLE FAMILIES are infected. The combination of advice to #schools/#earlyyears & #Christmas/#NewYear created repeated family #SuperSpreaderEvents of monumental proportions.
