Washington, Arizona, Indianapolis and Los Angeles Chargers remain under 50% vaccination for COVID-19 as of today, per a source familiar with the NFL’s vaccination rates. Pittsburgh, Miami, Carolina & Denver have highest rates & are among 7 teams with at least 85% vaccinated.
Teams on the lower end of the vaccination chart face potential competitive disadvantages, especially because the #NFL doesn’t plan to cancel any games this season, per my source. Story upcoming.

In 2018, the #49ers unveiled all-white throwbacks into the team's uniform rotation. It is a tribute to the 1994 #SuperBowl championship team.

Since then, fans have lauded this and called for the red version to return.

Here is the history of these uniforms.

These throwback uniforms originally date back to the 1955 #49ers team. That team went 4-8.

The helmet was red (with no logo) and silver pants were sometimes worn. The original white uniforms featured black stripes.

This uniform was only worn this season.

In 1994, the #NFL celebrated its 75th year. Teams were to participate in league-wide throwback uniform celebration beginning in Week 3. A commemorative 75th anniversary patch was worn by all teams.

For the first two weeks, the #49ers wore the standard set.

1/ #KanyeConJob UPDATE

The attorneys for @kanyewest filed his response to the two challenges filed against him at the end of last week.

It is a treasure trove of jaw-dropping arguments.

Long thread coming ...…
2/ #KanyeConJob UPDATE

Let's start with the fact it claims the "Kany West campaign represents a uniting, inspiring and faith-based vision that is successfully motivating disenfranchised and previously unengaged voters to participate in the political process."
3/ #KanyeConJob UPDATE

It would be funny if it weren't so insulting.

Obviously the characterization of the campaign is laughable.

But the characterization of #Wisconsin voters - that they would be otherwise "disenfranchised" or "unengaged" - is disrespectful and untrue.

#Cowboys WR Amari Cooper says he and a number of offensive players have been working out pretty consistently together to get their timing right with QB Dak Prescott. Recently those workouts have been at Prescott's who just had a football field constructed at his home.
Cooper called the CeeDee Lamb pickup "great" and in working out with him said he was a "quick learner" and "fundamentally sound" Said with he and Michael Gallup going for 1k last year the expectation this year is 3k between them all.
Cooper said this offseason and Phase 1 hasn't been weird because he's a person that's always been able to adapt to any situation.

Instant Round 2 Grades! Here we go! #NFLDraft2020

Starting with...
33. CIN - Tee Higgins WR9 ... C

My 44th overall player, I think there are better values & better WRs available.

I also would've gone OT here, unless an AJ Green trade is imminent.

Building around Burrow is a good move, though. #Bengals
34. IND - Michael Pittman Jr. WR12 ... D

I'm lower than many on Pittman - 53rd - I just think there are much better prospects at WR. Multiple are still on the board: Laviska 21st, Mims 36th, Edwards 43rd.

Also, not the route I would've gone here with such a valuable pick.

✭ A thread. ✭

Based on discussions I’ve had w/ sources keyed into the team’s thought process and others with knowledge of the talks, this is my understanding of the latest re: #Cowboys dialogue w/ Dak Prescott...

Including echoes of my own previous reports on the situation:
The team never wanted to invoke the franchise tag, and still don’t, but will as a placeholder if need be — giving them until mid-July to work out an extension with the franchise QB.

One sticking point is the team wants a longer termed deal beyond four or five years.. (cont.)
But Prescott wants financial concessions to make that worth accepting, seeing as he might not then be able to land one more big money reup under the new CBA (assuming it lands as expected).

Otherwise, he’d take the more traditional 4-5 year agreement... (cont’d)...

A brief #Cowboys coaching search thread...
1. The coaching search interviews are 100-percent Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones driven. This process won't be broad "group think" by any means and it's ultimately going to come down to how candidates have fared answering questions for Jerry and Stephen.
2. Pliability on the coaching staff is going to be a plus for some candidates. If you're a guy like Mike McCarthy or Marvin Lewis, you may very well need to retain four offensive coaches: OC Kellen Moore, OL coach Marc Colombo, QBs coach Jon Kitna and RBs coach Gary Brown.

Let's take a look at the McGovern pick in context. In 2016 the #Cowboys had an *actual* top-level line. They had six starting caliber OL in Smith-Leary-Fred-Martin and Free, with La'el in reserve. When Free wobbled, Collins could spell him. When Leary got dinged for a (1)
time late in the season Collins spelled him and the show went on. In 2017, they tried going the campaign with only 4 proven guys. Leary left in FA, Free retired and was replaced by Collins. LG was entrusted to Jonathan Cooper, who never fully overcame the serious knee (2)

This morning, I called this my favorite stat this year. But then I thought that was an exaggeration. It's my favorite stat for the #Cardinals.

Here's my favorite stat for every other team. #Thread
#Falcons in 2016: 1.57 TDs per FG attempt
2017: 0.85 TDs per FG att
Joe Flacco was 7th in pass atts in 2017, never threw for 300 yds, averaged <200 per game.
