As journalists, its our job to show what's happening, not tailor it to preferences. If there are dead bodies waiting in line to be cremated, if people are dying without a bed, that's what we'll report/ show with proper advisories. Can't paintbrush reality because its distressing.
These calls to not show #cremations in #India on news is just another ploy to divert attention of from the #reality that crematoria are running full with people being denied dignity in #death. The #COVID19India situation is horrible and it has to be reflected on the news.
Yes its #depressing and the person reporting from the crematorium is not enjoying it. But that's what our management of the pandemic has led to. See what the situation is, fix responsibility and remember all this when you elect your leaders.
