Around 3:30 pm on Tuesday, standing outside a night shelter near AIIMS, Kailash, 44, a differently-abled, held out a transparent plastic bag with one request: A little rice. (1/n)

How did we get here? Why were preventive steps not taken? Who is accountable?

How is it being implemented? Is it done sensibly & sensitively, considering ground realities & vulnerable people?
THEY'll say "this is an emergency, not the time to question the govt."

False. There is no wrong time to ask right questions.

In fact, we are in this crisis bcuz we didn't question the govt. Let's not repeat the mistake.
