2/ Working Paper collates presentations made at April 29 high-level launch event on occasion of 25th anniversary of CWC 25th anniversary #CWC25. Short thread on some highlights:
3/ @UN_Disarmament @INakamitsu in video message pointed to significant difficulties in holding accountable perpetrators of #chemicalweapons use and said that "this is not a situation the international community should allow to persist".
Today, on 25th anniversary of @OPCW we are happy to launch CBWNet, a project by @IFSHHamburg @HSKF_PRIF @jlugiessen ZNF @UniHH, funded by @BMBF_Bund. Over next 4 years we will be working together to strengthen norms against #chemicalweapons and #biologicalweapons.
