Shopkeeper Hata Jena lost his son last year. On May 3 he lost his small shop near Malatipatapur bus stand to Cyclone Fani which flung it 50 metre away.
There must be several like him who have lost everything. Government doles would not be enough. One more natural disaster and they may resort to begging. 2/n #CycloneFani
The middle class and well-to-do can always face a natural disaster better than these people. But it's the poor people like Jena who face the brunt of natural disasters more than others. 3/n #CycloneFani

Friends, we're headed to Odisha for #CycloneFani relief work. We will be driving from Vizag up north to Bhubaneshwar/Puri. We will have 3 mobile RO drinking water plants with us, and serve communities affected by the cyclone. @tatatrusts
I will update this thread with requests/information.
