..the capital gains brackets with the ordinary income tax brackets (make them start at the same $ amounts).
Great for remembering where brackets begin, but...
...it means the top cap gains bracket would start at 'just' $400k for single filers and $450k for joint filers...

So if you're income is $4 million and consists of a lot of capital gains, you have to be feeling pretty good right now.
But if your income is between $400k/$450k and $1 million and you have capital gains, you'd MUCH prefer the Biden plan to this bill (at least for this)

What Paul speaks to is very much aligned with the reforms supported by No Patient Left Behind (nopatientleftbehind.org), an organization I helped start and of which Paul is a personal supporter (see Life Science Builder page), as my firm and I support BIO. 2/8
Paul’s comments will make rent-seekers in our industry uncomfortable (companies that have gotten good at milking old drugs for high profits as if they still merit more reward for having been recently invented). Still, I know many within those companies who agree with Paul. 3/8

Whomever is elected, it is imperative that they and the @AutismINSAR Board take additional steps to center autistic people and POC in its leadership, press their member institutions to do the same, and take more steps to make INSAR equitable for autistic/POC researchers.
It is also time for @AutismINSAR to begin evaluating the leadership composition of board nominees who represent institutes with all-white leadership (many) or who fail to include #ActuallyAutistic people in their leadership (almost all).
