Paper 1 examined gender gaps in evaluations of Canadian Health Research grants. Biases at any point in the publication or grant process could lead to disparities in who is producing knowledge in epidemiology!

The @societyforepi member survey on diversity was a tremendous effort - to design, implement, analyze, and publish. Thanks to all those who participated!

We learned a tremendous amount about who members are and what their experiences at #SER have been.

-Most SER members were White and female (as were survey respondents).
-Members from 8 institutions composed 25% of SER’s membership.
