Last summer, the #USMNT played Cuba at Audi Field. I was covering the game. I left the press box briefly pre-game because I needed a quiet spot to have a private conversation with a colleague. We walked out of the press box and stepped into an empty suite right next door.
We chatted for a good 10 minutes, and as I turned to leave I was confronted by a very large man. "What the f**k are you doing in here," he said. I was shook, and I looked up and saw, much to my dismay, a Secret Service badge.

I’m convinced that if CCL and Libertadores combined, the top Mexican clubs would be competing for that title every single year.

It feels like such a pipe dream but i hope before I leave this earth I’ll see a world where MLS (and Liga MX) clubs compete in Copa Libertadores... even if it’s just the 2nd rate teams in Sudamericana.

Many people don’t know #DCU played in Copa Sudamericana (South American version of the Europa League) in 2005 before there were DPs or anything like that, and held their own.
