Since #DELETECOINBASE started trending because of $pepe, Gemini has gained 300 billion in $pepe deposits moving them up to the 24th largest holder. The community really has power. Image
My assumption is many who were Coinbase users were waiting until they listed to deposit there but now that they are deleting the app they are going over to Gemini.
Update. @Gemini has crossed 2 trillion $pepe and is the 20th largest holder now.

Allow me to share an article I wrote that looked into how shitcoins perform after being listed on Coinbase.

After digging into it, I remain highly critical of Coinbase's questionable listing policies and marketing strategies.

TL;DR - Coinbase is the woooooooorst 🎶
I was motivated to write this after Coinbase recommended "Top 10 Picks" to their customers that didn't include Bitcoin despite Bitcoin outperforming 99.9% of shitcoins long term.

They even recommended AXS over BTC two weeks AFTER its Ronin Bridge suffered a $625 million hack.
Since being recommended by Coinbase, these "top 10 picks" are down an average of -37% against Bitcoin.

If a customer of Coinbase heeded their advice, they would have lost money on these shitcoins instead of simply saving in the less risky asset, Bitcoin, for the long term.

The issue is much bigger than Neutrino:

💰their Ventures program funds no #Bitcoin development projects

⛔️they supported every contentious hard fork for Bitcoin

📵using CB Wallet doxes everyone’s txs

Hey @hodl_american & @udiWertheimer, can I get some love from you with this #DeleteCoinbase video?
Hey @giacomozucco & @BitcoinErrorLog, what does a guy have to do to get a RT for this #DeleteCoinbase video?

2/ One of the longest running memes in crypto came to an unceremonious end this week as Coinbase finally listed XRP. While the immediate assumption was that Ripple had paid a listing fee, the company aggressively denied it.
3/ It wasn’t the XRP listing, however, that provoked the most ire towards Coinbase. Instead, it was continued fallout over the acquisition of Neutrino, led by former leaders of Hacker Team.

This is me socially precommitting to never use Coinbase.
To be clear, she didn't prosecute Ulbricht. She was involved in the Silk Road 2.0 case: arstechnica.com/tech-policy/20…
Despite prosecuting Force/ Bridges, she's made no effort to argue that the corrupt investigation affected the fairness of Ulbricht's trial.
