A great ad.

As I’ve tweeted before, WaPo and the NYT deserve our support. There are others I subscribe to digitally as well, like The New Yorker, The Guardian (great), the LA Times--but IMO the first two are essential in the Trump era. #democracydiesindarkness
There are times when I could bypass WaPo and the NYT and link to articles on other sites that summarize articles in these two papers and that don’t have limited non-subscription viewing,
but I usually don’t hesitate to link directly to WaPo and the NYT, because I think these two papers really do deserve our financial support.

And don’t forget: the Donald HATES and FEARS these two papers especially (and CNN).

After an all night session, the WI Senate just voted to restrict early voting and remove powers from the new Dem Governor and Attorney General.
By one vote.
Campaign ads can say, accurately, that every WI GOP Senator made the deciding vote to pass this legislative coup.
Basically, apart from the crazy idea of running a separate election to choose their favored Supreme Court candidate, the WI GOP got most what I described in my op-ed on the #WIPowerGrab.
They are counting on people forgetting what happened. Don't.
The Assembly has not voted on the #WIPowergrab, and Walker has to sign it. But the Assembly has a large GOP majority, and Walker has said he will sign the bills. This was done by one vote in the WI Senate, in the middle of the night. #DemocracyDiesInDarkness

During yesterday's House hearing on cybersecurity for voting machines, @RepJohnDuncan, a GOP Representative from Tennessee, called for HAND counted ELECTIONS! I transcribed his testimony. Here it is.THREAD.
1. "I want to go back into this Defcon conference from this past July… This article I have says that participants tested over 25 pieces of equipment and every piece was effectively breached in some manner. …"
2. "By the end of the conference, every piece of equipment in the Voting Village was effectively breached in some manner. Participants with ... only limited tools & resources were quite capable of undermining the confidentiality, integrity & availability of these systems.”
