ReTHINK INDIA INSTITUTE finds itself privileged to get the opportunity to felicitate some of the finest & fiercest #DefendersofDharmicBharat in the name of the legendary Dharmic Intellectual #SitaRamGoel Ji, on his Centenary Commemoration on 16th of October, 2021 at 3 pm.
#SandeepBalakrishna Ji @dharmadispatch
One of the most cerebral #DefendersofDharmicBharat whose writings are as incisive & as invigorating as #SitaRamGoel Ji himself. If you haven't made dharmadispatch.in a part of your daily reading diet, do it today.
The hawkish @IPS_Association Officer, @MNageswarRaoIPS garu, who rose to lead the premiere CBI as well, has disrupted the entire space of #DharmicDiscourse sheerly by his majestic authority over #IPC Indic Precepts Code including the alien #Abrahmism #DefendersofDharmicBharat.

Inspired by the Persepolis pic, sharing a few 'pillars' seen in India. This set is of the Heliodorus pillar, a stone column in #Vidisha, MP. Could have been part of a Vishnu temple that was once at this site. Indo-Greek, dated to 113 BCE, rediscovered by Cunningham, 1877. ImageImageImageImage
This pillar is a virtual witness of Indian History - bearing inscriptions of Ashoka, Samudragupta and Jahangir. Originally Ashokan, was moved from Kaushambhi to its present day location inside the fort at #Prayagraj to commemorate Jahangir's accession. ImageImage
#ExploreUP: Kaushambhi is one of India's finest excavated sites. It still retains one Ashokan pillar which stands amidst green fields. ImageImageImage

In #Dhar, MP is a Sarasvati Temple built by Raja Bhoja in the 11th century which was converted to a mosque by Muslim rulers. Called #Bhojshala, it's one of the few temples devoted exclusively to Sarasvati. After Independence the temple could easily hv been handed to Hindus (1)
Instead, in a weird arrangement Muslims take over the temple on Fridays to offer namaz while Hindus bring a framed picture of Sarasvati to worship on Tuesdays. The Muslims hold other festivals too. Hindus have been prevented from holding Vasant Panchami congregations here. (2)
My heart sank at the sight of the Muslim Dargah built near the entrance of the temple and looking completely out of place. There is a tomb of some Sufi Maulana in the Dargah. (3)
