In 2019, I joined my @HouseDemocrats colleagues on a single mission: To fight #ForThePeople. We passed 400+ bills, including 275+ bipartisan bills that @senatemajldr refuses to act on, and we fought to hold this Administration accountable for its corruption. A few highlights:

I, along w/@RepAdamSmith, introduced the #DignityForDetainedImmigrants Act—w/138 cosponsors—to end mandatory detention, protect asylum-seekers & other vulnerable populations, eliminate the for-profit prison system, & ensure immigrants are treated with dignity.
