Thousands of sexual abuse victims and supporters are gathering at Somaiya grounds today to go on a #DignityMarch where they walk for 10,000 kms across 24 states to educate ppl against sexual violence & abuse. (More on thread)
I am devastated to see no upper-caste, privileged people be a part of this march. I see are ppl with no proper footwear and equipment to do this 10,000km walk. My heart breaks to see how there's an entire part of India I'm meeting for the first time today.
This event has received no screen space anywhere except a few channels. And I think it deserves more attention than what we're currently giving. I'm going to put out some pics so that you feel super fucking grateful about your life.
