Mitch McConnell should be asked these questions every single day of the rest of his term as Senate Majority Leader. Let's get him out in 2020.

We need to flip at least 4 Senate seats & hold what we have. #WednesdayMotivation #FlipTheSenate #DitchMitch 1/6

Top 10 reasons to support @harrisonjaime 4 US Senate.
1. Jaime’s inspiring personal story. He remembers where & who he came from. Jaime lived the challenges facing vulnerable South Carolinians. He appreciates opportunities he’s received. He lives #ToWhomMuchIsGivenMuchIsRequired
2. Jaime is smart, determined & tenacious. He earned a scholarship to Yale after graduating from an under-resourced Orangeburg SC high school & he earned a law degree from Georgetown while working for @WhipClyburn
3. Jaime’s desire to serve. He could have gone anywhere w/Yale & Georgetown Law degrees but he chose public service: teaching 9th grade in SC, starting a non-profit to help kids get into college, working for @WhipClyburn & rising thru the ranks to become 1st AA Whip Floor Leader.

Who has the straight Kentucky talk, the humanity, the common sense and star power to help the country #DitchMitch?

I am recruiting this man heavily:

@RexChapman #3

Ready to Block or Charge McConnell
Rex Chapman is a good man and he's real ...

Just a thought @KyDems

I truly believe that @RexChapman should run in the Kentucky Senate race to help the country #DitchMitch

He's a good human, has common sense and he's real Kentucky (the good parts) through and through
People in Kentucky hate Mitch McConnell. He probably has the worst popularity rating of any elected official anywhere in the entire world. So why do people in Kentucky keep voting for him?

They like his status ... he's one of theirs ... a star. He makes them feel powerful
Mitch McConnell will only be replaced by somebody with equal or greater star power.

So unless George Clooney is coming back to My Old Kentucky Home, I think @RexChapman oughtta give it a whirl

Why not? Bet Kentucky would hear some real talk from a real Kentuckian

Mitch smh

This is a preliminary graphic someone shared of Republican senate seats up for grabs in 2020. Some of these candidates like Alexander (TN) and Roberts (KS) have announced they are retiring, so the seat is open. Start to think about ways to get involved!

Mitch McConnell has, like Trump, consistently degraded our norms and democracy. If we are to take our country back, he too must either go in 2020, or be relegated to minority leader. SCOTUS seats at stake! We must get engaged to find candidates, donate and GOTV now! #DitchMitch
Thank you for liking this @AmyMcGrathKY I will help you fundraise and fly out to KY if you run. McConnell is almost as dangerous to our country as Trump.

🏛️Mitch McConnell needs to be taken out of his position right now of being a roadblock to non-partisan negotiations to ending the government shutdown.

▶️One reason is in plain sight: he is a member of the Legislative branch; his wife is a member of the Executive branch.
💥Trump (Executive branch) is causing the shutdown.

🧱Mitch McConnell (Legislative branch) is blocking the end of the shutdown.

🔥If we don't have 3 co-equal branches of government our country is seriously doomed.

⁉️How much longer can this continue?
💥Of course, there are many allegations against McConnell. Joe Biden said a year ago that McConnell prevented the Obama Administration from
speaking out about Russian interference in the 2016 campaign by refusing to sign on to a bipartisan statement.

So, we're losing the supreme court, likely for a generation, barring something that verges on revolutionary such as impeachment of tainted justice(s) or adding more seats.

What do we do?

Get control of the rest of the government and hold on to it for dear life.
If we get a court that will overturn Roe vs. Wade, we need laws that protect the right to reproductive choice nationwide.

If we get a court that will overturn marriage equality, we need laws that protect it nationwide.
The conservative puppet court might want to overturn those laws, but it can't reach out unilaterally and do it. Cases have to proceed through the legal system, which takes time and money.
