2/ āI didnāt need the glasses or silver, things that represented who I thought Iād become but never did, & I didnāt need dolls, which represented who Iād been & no longer was. The typewriter, on the other hand, represented both the person I had wanted to be & the person I am...ā

Just finished reading/listening to @WilliamUryGTYās āThe Power of a Positive Noā. This book is fantastic and an easy read. I recommend for anyone who may encounter crucial conversations where you have to say no (but preserve the relationship). #DocsWhoRead 1/many
The book is written in three chapters, each taking a Yes/No/Yes approach to the difficult conversation. @WilliamUryGTY narrates the @audible_com version himself.
