For those out there raising puppies, I’ve got a little trick for you that truly works. As you know when the pup is misbehaving, you have to correct it immediately. Sanctioning a pup after it’s misbehaved teaches it nothing & slows the training process. The pup will be confused.
Get yourself some old keys (that jingle), put them on a keyring, and tie a bright ribbon to it.
When the pup is chewing on something it’s not supposed to be chewing, toss them (lightly) and the pup’s butt. Then give him a toy he can chew on and lots of praise. #dogtraining

You only have to do this a few times, and later when the pup is misbehaving, just shake the keys. The pup will stop and look up. Then direct it to the correct behavior, and praise.
