Priceless. Government suggests the problem is weak social media regulation, not non-existent press regulation. Wilful blindness not to acknowledge irresponsible reporting by their friends at the Sun, Mail etc drove social media pile-ons. 1/3…
The problem for the government is that the more they demand action on online harms from Facebook, Twitter etc, the more those companies will be forced to point out how much of the harm is caused by dishonest, unethical UK news outlets. 2/3
What do they expect the tech companies to do? Ban the Sun and the Mail from their platforms altogether? Now there's a thought. #dontbuythesun #dontbuythemail #DontClickOnTheSun #dontclickonthemail @stopfundinghate 3/3

In January 2014, I was returning from a GP appointment with my son. He was only 13 at the time. Walking back to my flat, I spied a photographer with a long lens camera taking photos in my general direction.
I looked around wondering who on earth they come be photographing in this area? But we went up to our flat and I didn't really think much of it. A few minutes later, someone was buzzing up to our flat.
I answered the buzzer, and they asked if I was Melissa Murray? I said yes. I was a bit confused, but I wasn't scared, as it was the middle of the day, and I lived in a building with other tenants. So I went downstairs to see who it was.

After the #MetPolice tried & failed to frame me & after ex #MetPoliceUK turned private investigators @Surelock_ tried & failed to frame me & my mum, attempt number 3 was #EE & #UKMail. I had never used @EE but they made me their customer

#SwitchtoO2 #o2 #Vodafone #Three #LBC
#EE said I had ordered mobile phones & sim cards & #UKMail said they had delivered them to me (with me showing my passport) at home. I did neither. I didn't order any mobiles & I didn't receive any mobiles. It was a complete stitch up
