As an ordinary member, I write to blow the whistle on evidence of serious wrongdoing in the Green Party of England and Wales and I believe it to be both in the interest of the Party and the wider public interest to do so.
Late motion "Solidarity with DQSH" taken without due authority of conference. There are multiple grounds to believe that this part of a determined effort by some to pass the motion “at all costs”, the chief obstacle to doing so being to make sure that plenary time made for it.
Green Party has just passed Late motion Solidarity with Drag Queen Story Time/Hour. Couple of excerpts below - from synopsis & one of action points. #DQSH #GPC22 
Just to note a few points from debate. I spoke against motion on following grounds
👉 procedurally had not benefitted from full amendments & scrutiny process
👉 motion full of straw men, chiefly conflating far-right critics with others with justifiable concerns

👉 wider context being missed, one in which lifelong feminists such as @bindelj having to take council to court for debarring her from speaking on women's rights in library space. Why weren't we putting motions about this too?

What are his qualifications?
Were I a published children's author, that would make sense. Were I a poet or bard and this was my career, that would make sense. Were this a creative writing workshop, that would make sense.

2/The first indication of a far-right presence in anti-vax groups was links to the Workers of England Union in Feb 2021. Run by Robin Tillbrook - leader of the English Democrats Party, they offered legal representation for ppl whose refusal to vaccinate had cost them their jobs.
3/ Tillbrook has a longstanding professional connection to Mark Collett - leader of the far right group Patriotic Alternative.
On Saturday, Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library will hold its 1st #draqQueenStoryHour.It's their first and one of the first in IN. Not everyone is happy about this. courierpress.com/story/news/loc…
It is ironic though, to see protesters wanting to take free speech away from a library.
#DragQueenStoryHours #DQSH exist to validate the gender fluidity that many of our youth embrace--a new reality.
