I was interviewed for an intern position at Dukaan in Dec 2021, but I wasn't able to make it that time.
Seeing how awesome the work culture and growth environment was through Twitter,I felt it in my guts that starting my tech career with a mentor like @subhaschy would be epic

And there was a hope.

The hope was, Subhash sir had saved my number, we could see each other’s whatsapp statuses 😂

So, I decided to work hard and learn Django and started to create a production grade Dukaan MVP, thinking to text him in future.

Picking up where we left last time ie: #dukaantech . The biggest business goal of shopkeepers is to get a bigger share of grocery bulk shopping done at Wholesale market at the start of the month. Explained 👇2/n
A family buys 15KG of rice per month. They buy 10KG in the start of the month from the wholesale market and then keep replenishing it 1KG at a time (on credit) from neighbourhood shop. Credit is paid next month after payday and before a trip to wholesale market. 3/n

I have spent the last few months in Bikaner, A tier 2 city in Rajasthan. Here I got to observe our users from a distance while still being part of context. Some of what I noticed was contrary to the ideas we have in the industry about our users.2/n
I am writing this thread to (1) Validate: is it just me and my sampling bias or others also observe the same patterns? (2) As we build products for the next billion users ( NBU) these observations might help us build a more representative persona for our users. 3/n
