A significant number of lower income residents of Alexandria do not own cars. Many more low and moderate income residents are car lite, owning only one car in a multi adult household. They rely on buses to get to work, shopping and errands.
Making it easier and more convenient for them to do so would improve the lives of the less privileged of our fellow Alexandrians.
