I have never been so angry. This leaflet is being put through letter boxes in Dumbarton. It is blatantly racist. Make no mistake this is a deliberate attack on Gurpreet Singh Johal, someone I am proud to call my friend, and the Labour candidate in the council elections 1/3

With possession granted after close of service last night, work got underway to remove and replace bridge deck on #BonhillRd #Dumbarton.
Work is being delivered during 54hr closure of the line today and tomorrow.

Among the first tasks was to stone the road to level off camber underneth the structure to allow bridge transporter access to take weight of bridge deck - which has been pre cut.
We have also cleared the cables at track level to enable removal of deck #BonhillRd #Dumbarton

With the bridge transporter in position, it takes the weight of the deck and raises it circa 150mm to enable safe removal.
