Born in 1927 in #Kashgar city of East Turkestan. He completed his primary education and then immigrated to Makkah in 1950 where joined Al-Falah schools in Makkah and classes at Masjid al-Haram. He worked in Jeddah Radio & he used to write for Saudi newspapers of Al-Bilad & Okaz.
Sheikh Muhammad dedicated his life to the cause of East Turkestan and translated #Uyghur books into Arabic and Arabic into Uyghur, including:

A relative of Roshen’gul Abdurishit (below) asked me to share these photos on Twitter. Large number of Uyghurs are still missing, including the close relatives of the Uyghurs who are currently living abroad, even after “Xinjiang” authorities claimed all the detainees
in China’s concentration camps have been released. In 2015 - 2017, CCP reported the Uyghur population in #EastTurkestan as 11.3 million, & in Sep 2018 a CCP central government official said it is 6 or 7 million. Our only wish now is those missing Uyghurs are still alive.

In 2010, two Uyghur youths were crossing a street thru an underground tunnel filled with shoppers. Elbow of one Uyghur softly touches a Han lady by accident. The lady starts to shout: “Help me! They gave me a shot!” There was nothing in the hands of the 2 Uyghurs.

Despite of that, the nearby police comes and arrests them. Later, the 2 Uyghurs’ fate was decided in a high-level “Xinjiang” party officials’ meeting, attended by then Secretary Wang Luochuan and then Chairman Nur Bekri: Death sentence to one, & life-in-prison to the other.

Edinburgh Place is full for the #HK rally in solidarity w #Uighurs . In our nearly 800 protests since 6/9, this is only the 3rd to stand for others. There was a small 1 at CUHK for Uighur uni pres rumored sentenced to death & 1 for Catalunya.
