Die vielen Kulturen, die in Offenbach vertreten sind, inspirieren die Auswahl der essbaren Gewächse. Von Bockshornklee und Immortelle bis Pfefferkraut und Jiaogulan. Janina Albrecht von Stadtbiotop #Offenbach zeigt den Aufbau der Hochbeete, die Bepflanzung und Pflege.
Bei einem Kräuter-Tasting werden passende Drinks von der UND Bar gereicht und die Pflanzen mit bunten Schildern beschriftet. Außerhalb der Workshop-Zeiten locken die Beete Insekten an und verschönern den Stadthof. Die Pflanzen werden gesponsert von #EssbareStadtOffenbach

Basically we forage, prepare & preserve fruit, making jams, jellies & chutneys that are shared with the people who've worked on them, with excess distributed through local food banks. So far this summer we've made cherry & elderflower jam from Hackney marshes & London Fields 2/

We foraged, we made jam (& chutney, & jelly). It was funny & hectic & exhausting & there was barely any time to take pictures! #EdibleCity #EastEndJam thanks to @WETRAE8 for hosting plus amazing veg from the community plots.
