Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters are attending a fire at railway arches near to #ElephantCastle railway station. Please avoid the area and close all doors and windows

Three commercial units underneath the railway arches are completely alight and four cars and a telephone box are also alight near #ElephantandCastle Railway Station. Road closures are in place and people are advised to avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed
Do fill this in ppl of the forest who are outrageously neglected by otherwise broadly welcome plans. Paint/signs have almost no impact tho of course. Deliberate exclusions of say New Kent Road which connects w Grt Dover St/others covered is typical: unconnected/contemptuous @TfL
Just look at this map of exclusion/contempt for the E&C OA communities; abused and abandoned to complete neglect and the targeted contempt here for the most polluted/lethal roads in TfL’s control, lining #ElephantPark and the OA directly! NKR should be 20mph as a minimal example. 
If @Tfl can’t kill you w the volume of vehicles or w the air pollution they so carelessly encourage they’ll make sure to get you w speeding vehicles. Meanwhile the GLA/LA have demolished yr homes & densified yr neighbourhood. Yr LA & Councillors only job is to rep yr interests!!!
Following @SadiqKhan decision to approve Delancey's & Southwark's plans to demolish the #ElephantandCastle Shopping Centre, we remain adamant that this scheme has a long way to go to protect BAME communities and small traders in Elephant and Castle (follows👇🏾)
