Home loan interest rates are now ~8% from 6.5% just 3 months back

Here are 4 things you can do to reduce your #EMIs:👇
1. Shift the fresh allocation from Debt portfolio to repaying loans

PPF pays 7.1%, FDs pay ~6% (post tax ~4-5%), Annuity plans have also got similar IRR. But your Home loan is at 8%

So if you planning to make any fresh allocation to such instruments, rather pay your loan first
2. Use your bonus to repay the debt

Many corporate employees will receive bonus in September

If your allocation to equity is already very high, then rather repay your home loans first

If not, then thoughtfully allocate the same between repaying debts and allocating to equity

This week we join Scotland’s leading pro-European campaign organisation, the European Movement in Scotland, #EMiS to launch a campaign, through its affiliated local groups across the Scotland, to #DefendDemocracy & highlight the sectors of the economy damaged by #Brexit.
In the face of serious threats to our economic & political future, it's time to join forces & shout "enough"! Campaigners will send letters to Scotland’s MPs & MSPs to demand that our elected representatives stand up for democracy & our country's economic interests.
EMiS chair, former MP (Edinburgh North & Leith) @marklazarowicz said: “Whatever people's views on the EU, on Scotland's future, we need to wake up to the steady dismantling of our democracy; to understand we risk sleepwalking into something which is a democracy in name only."

@RBI #moratorium of 3 mths of #EMIs on all oustanding term loans as on Mar 1, 2020. Includes all #Banks & #NBFCs. #EMI payments will restart only once the time period expires. A #creditcard #loan is not classified as a #TermLoan. It is basically revolving #credit. @fifaindiaorg
This #EMIHOLIDAY is not a Waiver. Once things are normal the deferred #EMIs have to be paid. It simply won't have a negative effect on #CIBIL score. This will not happen in an automated manner, bank has to approve on the basis of request. #moratorium @RBI #RBItoday #rbigovernor
While #CreditCards are defined as revolving credit & not term loans, as per clarity from @RBI it is clear that credit card dues are also covered. Though this must be avoided if possible. #Moratorium #EMIHOLIDAY
